Jared Miracle is a product of rural Indiana. He holds a B.A. in Asian Studies from Purdue University where he spent an absurd amount of time studying Japanese and Asian literature with a heavy dose of English. Over the years he has written for school newspapers, appeared in any number of stage productions, provided narration for video projects, and been on a myriad of adventures around the globe.
As if that’s not fantastic enough (which it is), Jared loves the martial arts and dedicates vast amounts of time that he doesn’t have to the study of hoplology. His present focus is the art of Japan and the Japanese diaspora.
Jared currently lives in Yamanashi Prefecture, Japan, where he teaches English at the junior high school level, much to his family’s chagrin.
If you’d like to contact the mysterious Wizard, an e-mail here should do the trick. He’s sometimes available for martial arts and self-defense clinics or writing/editing work. He tends to be happiest when combining the two.
